DENVER – Linebacker Antonio Pierce traveled to Los Angeles on Wednesday to meet with Dr. Robert Watkins, a specialist who took a look at the bulging disc in Pierce's neck. Watkins diagnosis was the same as the Giants medical experts, meaning the first step for Pierce is to rest and see if the disc shrinks on its own. Surgery is an option at a later date depending on how the disc responds.   Full Story

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Most players try to downplay facing off against their former team and teammates. Michael Boley is obviously not one of them. Boley was basically demoted by the Falcons staff for no apparent reason last season and still hasn’t forgotten about it – or stopped using it as motivation. The Washington Redskins offered Jason Taylor a raise. Taylor already was scheduled to make an $8 million salary and a $500,000 roster bonus in 2009.
